A Black and white series shot on 120 film. I tried to capture the interplay between the stark minimalism of Tadao Ando's architectural masterpieces and the organic forms of Naoshima's natural landscape.
Stripping away color, the photographs highlight contrasts in texture, form, and light, revealing the silent dialogue between man-made geometry and the ever-changing environment. The project seeks to explore how simplicity and structure coexist with the island's raw beauty, creating a timeless, meditative visual narrative.
The location is Naoshima Island. It’s also called the “Art Island”
